Easy hot hors d’oeuvres for gatherings.
Ingredients

- 1 package of puff pastry (about 17 oz)
- 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/2 cup of cooked and crumbled bacon
- 1/4 cup of chopped green onions
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
- Cut the pastry into squares, about 3×3 inches.
- In a bowl, mix the cheese, bacon, and green onions.
- Place a spoonful of the mixture in the center of each pastry square.
- Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and pinch to seal.
- Place the filled pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the pastries.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Make sure the pastry is cold before rolling for best results.
- Use a sharp knife to cut the pastry cleanly.
- Experiment with fillings like spinach or mushrooms.
