Delicious orange truffles made with chocolate and orange zest.
Ingredients

- 200g dark chocolate
- 100ml heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 1 tablespoon orange juice
- Cocoa powder for dusting
Instructions
- Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces and place it in a mixing bowl.
- In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream and butter over medium heat until it simmers.
- Pour the hot cream mixture over the chopped chocolate.
- Let it sit for a minute, then stir until smooth.
- Add orange zest and orange juice to the chocolate mixture, stirring well.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for about 2 hours or until firm.
- Using a spoon, scoop out small portions of the chocolate mixture and roll them into balls.
- Roll the truffles in cocoa powder to coat them.
- Place the truffles on a plate and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
- Make sure the chocolate is finely chopped for easier melting.
- Use fresh orange zest for the best flavor.
- Keep the truffles refrigerated until serving.
