Ingredients

  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 100ml heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces and place it in a mixing bowl.
  2. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream and butter over medium heat until it simmers.
  3. Pour the hot cream mixture over the chopped chocolate.
  4. Let it sit for a minute, then stir until smooth.
  5. Add orange zest and orange juice to the chocolate mixture, stirring well.
  6. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for about 2 hours or until firm.
  7. Using a spoon, scoop out small portions of the chocolate mixture and roll them into balls.
  8. Roll the truffles in cocoa powder to coat them.
  9. Place the truffles on a plate and refrigerate until ready to serve.
