Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef in a pan until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread a layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of the crockpot.
  4. Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce.
  5. Add half of the ricotta mixture, half of the ground beef, and a layer of mozzarella cheese.
  6. Repeat the layers: sauce, noodles, ricotta, beef, and mozzarella.
  7. Top with the last 3 noodles, remaining sauce, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  8. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
  9. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use no-boil lasagna noodles for easier layering.
  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms.
  • Make sure to cover the crockpot to avoid drying out.
