Delicious crockpot beef that is tender and flavorful.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 carrots, sliced
- 3 potatoes, cubed
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions
- Place the beef chuck roast at the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic on top of the beef.
- Layer the sliced carrots and cubed potatoes over the onions.
- Pour beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the entire mixture.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and dried thyme.
- Cover the crockpot and set it to low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Check for tenderness and serve warm.
Notes
- For a thicker sauce, mix 2 tablespoons of cornstarch with water and stir it in during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Feel free to add your favorite vegetables.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
