- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- Additional granulated sugar for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, beat the cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, then add them to the cream cheese mixture.
- Stir in the heavy cream and flour until fully combined.
- Pour the mixture into a greased springform pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
- Allow the cheesecake to cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Before serving, sprinkle a thin layer of granulated sugar on top.
- Use a kitchen torch to caramelize the sugar until golden brown.
Notes
- Make sure your cream cheese is at room temperature for a smooth batter.
- Don’t overbake; the center should be slightly soft.
- Chill the cheesecake overnight for the best flavor.
