Description

A delicious fusion of creamy cheesecake and classic creme brulee, topped with a caramelized sugar crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • Additional granulated sugar for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, then add them to the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and flour until fully combined.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased springform pan.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
  8. Allow the cheesecake to cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  9. Before serving, sprinkle a thin layer of granulated sugar on top.
  10. Use a kitchen torch to caramelize the sugar until golden brown.

Notes

  • Make sure your cream cheese is at room temperature for a smooth batter.
