Ingredients

- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 cups spinach, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and cook until soft.
- Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Remove the casing from the sausage and add it to the pot. Cook until browned.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the heavy cream and parmesan cheese until melted.
- Add the chopped spinach and Italian seasoning. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
