- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, milk, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Mix everything together until well combined. Use your hands if necessary.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
- Spread a little ketchup on top for extra flavor.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or your favorite vegetables.
Notes
- Make sure not to overmix the meatloaf.
- You can add chopped bell peppers or carrots for extra flavor.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
