  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  3. Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
  5. Let the dough rise in a greased bowl for 30 minutes, covered with a towel.
  6. In a pot, bring 10 cups of water to a boil. Add baking soda to the boiling water.
  7. Divide the dough into 12 pieces and shape each into a pretzel.
  8. Boil each pretzel in the baking soda water for 30 seconds.
  9. Place pretzels on a baking sheet and brush with melted butter.
  10. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and sprinkle over the pretzels.
  11. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  12. Let cool slightly before serving.
