Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- Cinnamon sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a saucepan, combine water, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in flour until the mixture pulls away from the sides.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Pipe the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- While baking, melt chocolate and brown sugar together in a bowl.
- Once churros are cool, dip them in the chocolate mixture.
- Coat with cinnamon sugar before serving.
Notes
- Make sure to let the churros cool slightly before dipping.
- Use a piping bag for easy shaping.
- Adjust cinnamon sugar to your taste.
