Delicious Christmas chocolate chip cookies that are easy to make.
Ingredients

- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour and baking soda. Set aside.
- In another bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt.
- Add vanilla and eggs to the butter mixture. Mix well.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients. Stir until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Notes
- Make sure butter is soft for easy mixing.
- Do not overmix the dough.
- For chewier cookies, slightly underbake them.
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
