Description

Delicious Christmas breakfast sandwiches that are easy to make and perfect for the holiday morning.


Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • 4 slices of cooked bacon or sausage
  • Butter for toasting
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add butter to the pan and let it melt.
  3. Crack an egg into the pan and cook until the white is set.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Place a slice of cheese on top of the egg and cover the pan for a minute to melt the cheese.
  6. Meanwhile, toast the bread in a toaster or in another pan with butter.
  7. Once the egg and cheese are ready, place them on a slice of toasted bread.
  8. Add a slice of bacon or sausage on top of the egg.
  9. Top with another slice of toasted bread to complete the sandwich.
  10. Repeat for the remaining sandwiches.

Notes

  • Use any type of bread you like.
  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or tomatoes.
  • If you prefer your eggs scrambled, beat them in a bowl and pour into the pan instead.
