Ingredients

- 200g dark chocolate
- 100ml heavy cream
- 50g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: crushed nuts for coating
Instructions
- Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces.
- Heat the cream in a saucepan until it just starts to simmer.
- Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate.
- Let it sit for a couple of minutes, then stir until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract and mix well.
- Refrigerate the mixture for about 1-2 hours until firm.
- Use a spoon to scoop out small amounts and roll them into balls.
- Roll the truffles in cocoa powder or crushed nuts to coat.
- Place the coated truffles on a plate and refrigerate until serving.
Notes
- Make sure the chocolate is finely chopped for smooth melting.
- Use a cookie scoop for even-sized truffles.
- Keep the truffles in the fridge to maintain firmness.
