- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup cornstarch

- 2 3/4 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- Whipped cream for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, mix sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt.
- Gradually add milk while stirring to avoid lumps.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and butter until smooth.
- Pour the chocolate filling into the pie crust.
- Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven.
- Allow to cool for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Top with whipped cream if desired.
Notes
