Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, melted
  • Whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix chocolate cookie crumbs, sugar, and melted butter.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a pie pan to form the crust.
  4. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
  5. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  6. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  7. Stir in sour cream and melted chocolate until fully combined.
  8. Pour the filling into the cooled crust.
  9. Bake for 25 minutes. Turn off the oven and let the pie cool inside for an hour.
  10. Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
  11. Top with whipped cream before serving.

  • Make sure your cream cheese is softened for easy mixing.
