- 1 cup fresh blackberries

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
- Slowly add boiling water to the batter and mix well.
- Fold in the blackberries gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pans.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove and cool completely on a wire rack.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
