- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the mushrooms and sauté until they are soft.
- Stir in the flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually add the chicken broth and cream, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
- Mix in the chicken, peas, and spaghetti. Stir until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use leftover chicken for quicker prep.
- Don’t overcook the spaghetti; it will continue to cook in the oven.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or spinach.
