A simple and delicious chicken quesadilla recipe perfect for beginners.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack)
  • 4 flour tortillas
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers, diced
  • 1/4 cup onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon taco seasoning

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add diced bell peppers and onion. Cook until soft, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in shredded chicken and taco seasoning. Mix well and heat through.
  4. Place one tortilla in the skillet. Sprinkle half of the cheese on one half of the tortilla.
  5. Add half of the chicken mixture on top of the cheese.
  6. Fold the tortilla in half and cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Flip and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes.
  8. Remove from skillet and repeat with remaining tortillas and filling.
  9. Cut into wedges and serve warm.

  • Ensure the skillet is hot before adding the tortilla for a crispy texture.
  • Use a non-stick skillet to prevent sticking.
