Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 4 hoagie rolls

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add sliced onion and bell pepper to the skillet. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Place provolone cheese slices on top of the chicken and vegetables. Cover the skillet for a few minutes until the cheese melts.
  5. Toast hoagie rolls if desired.
  6. Fill each roll with the chicken and cheese mixture. Serve hot.
