Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup cabbage, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup carrots, grated
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 package egg roll wrappers
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, cabbage, carrots, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, and ginger.
  2. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface with a corner facing you.
  3. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture onto the wrapper.
  4. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly.
  5. Seal the top corner with a dab of water.
  6. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat for frying.
  7. Fry the egg rolls until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  8. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  9. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
