Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, broccoli, cooked rice, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix everything well until combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  6. If using, sprinkle breadcrumbs over the cheese for a crunchy topping.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Make sure the chicken is cooked before adding to the mixture.
  • You can substitute fresh broccoli with frozen, just thaw it first.
  • For added flavor, mix in some cooked onions or bell peppers.
