A comforting chicken broccoli casserole that is easy to make and perfect for beginners.

- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, broccoli, cooked rice, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix everything well until combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- If using, sprinkle breadcrumbs over the cheese for a crunchy topping.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Make sure the chicken is cooked before adding to the mixture.
- You can substitute fresh broccoli with frozen, just thaw it first.
- For added flavor, mix in some cooked onions or bell peppers.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
