A comforting chicken and biscuit casserole that’s easy to make and perfect for beginners.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 package (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, milk, frozen mixed vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the chicken mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Open the biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into quarters.
  5. Place the biscuit pieces evenly on top of the chicken mixture.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Make sure the chicken is cooked before shredding.
  • You can use leftover rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • If you prefer a thicker sauce, reduce the amount of milk.
