This cherry sweet rolls recipe makes soft, fluffy rolls filled with sweet cherry goodness.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 cup cherry pie filling
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add sugar, butter, egg, salt, and vanilla to the yeast mixture.
- Gradually add flour and knead the dough until smooth.
- Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface.
- Spread cherry pie filling over the dough.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into pieces.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes.
- Allow cooling before serving.

- Ensure your milk is warm, not hot, to activate the yeast.
- Use fresh or canned cherries if you prefer.
