Description

Easy cherry cheesecake brownies that combine rich chocolate and creamy cheesecake with a cherry topping.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 package (8 oz) of cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup of cherry pie filling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  3. In a bowl, mix sugar and butter together until smooth.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla to the mixture and stir well.
  5. In another bowl, combine cocoa, flour, and salt.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  7. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  8. In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  9. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the brownie layer in the pan.
  10. Add the remaining brownie batter on top of the cream cheese layer.
  11. Drop spoonfuls of cherry pie filling on top and swirl gently with a knife.
  12. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  13. Let cool before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

  • Make sure not to overmix the brownie batter.
  • Let the brownies cool completely for better cutting.
