Description
Easy cherry cheesecake brownies that combine rich chocolate and creamy cheesecake with a cherry topping.
Ingredients

- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1 package (8 oz) of cream cheese
- 1/4 cup of powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup of cherry pie filling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix sugar and butter together until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla to the mixture and stir well.
- In another bowl, combine cocoa, flour, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the brownie layer in the pan.
- Add the remaining brownie batter on top of the cream cheese layer.
- Drop spoonfuls of cherry pie filling on top and swirl gently with a knife.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
- Make sure not to overmix the brownie batter.
- Let the brownies cool completely for better cutting.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
