Description

A comforting and hearty cheeseburger soup that combines all the flavors of a classic cheeseburger in a warm, creamy bowl.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup corn (canned or frozen)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is soft.
  3. Pour in the beef broth and add diced potatoes and carrots. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer until the potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.
  5. Add corn, Worcestershire sauce, and milk. Stir to combine.
  6. Gradually stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with extra cheese if desired.

Notes

  • For a thicker soup, mash some of the potatoes before adding the cheese.
  • You can add cooked bacon bits for extra flavor.
  • Feel free to use other vegetables like bell peppers or celery.
