Description

A delicious twist on classic flavors, this cheeseburger quesadilla combines the richness of a cheeseburger with the convenience of a quesadilla.


Ingredients

  • 2 flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup pickles, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat the oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning, onions, and cook for 2 more minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in the tomatoes and pickles.
  5. Place one tortilla in the skillet, sprinkle half of the cheese on top.
  6. Add the beef mixture on top of the cheese.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the beef mixture and cover with the second tortilla.
  8. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the bottom tortilla is golden brown.
  9. Carefully flip the quesadilla and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the other side is golden brown.
  10. Remove from heat and let it cool for a minute before slicing.

Notes

  • Use a non-stick skillet to prevent sticking.
  • Feel free to add more toppings like avocado or jalapeños.
  • Make sure to cook the beef thoroughly.
