- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup French fried onions
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the green beans. Cook for 5 minutes, then drain.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add the cooked green beans and half of the cheddar cheese to the mixture. Stir until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and French fried onions.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown on top.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a crunchier topping, add more French fried onions.
- You can substitute fresh green beans with frozen if needed.
- Feel free to adjust the amount of cheese based on your preference.
