  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • Powdered sugar for coating

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, cayenne pepper, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla. Mix well.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Stir until combined.
  5. Fold in dark chocolate chips.
  6. Use a spoon to scoop dough and roll it into balls.
  7. Roll each ball in powdered sugar until fully coated.
  8. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them apart.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes until slightly cracked on top.
  10. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
