Description

A classic Campbell’s green bean casserole recipe that’s easy to make and perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans of green beans (14.5 oz each)
  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 1/3 cups of French fried onions
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, and black pepper.
  3. Add the drained green beans to the mixture and stir well.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle 2/3 cup of French fried onions on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven and stir the casserole.
  8. Top with the remaining French fried onions.
  9. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the onions are golden brown.
  10. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Make sure to drain the green beans well to prevent excess liquid.
  • You can add cheese for a creamy texture if desired.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
