  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, melt the butter and mix in granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla for the brownie layer.
  3. Add flour, cocoa powder, and salt to the brownie mix. Stir until smooth.
  4. Pour the brownie batter into a greased baking pan and spread evenly.
  5. In another bowl, mix brown sugar, peanut butter, eggs, and vanilla for the cookie layer.
  6. Add flour, baking soda, and salt to the cookie mix. Stir until combined.
  7. Fold in chocolate chips into the cookie mixture.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie batter on top of the brownie layer.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let it cool, then cut into bars and serve.

Notes

  • Make sure to grease your baking pan well.
  • Don’t overmix the batter to keep the bars soft.
  • Allow the bars to cool completely for easier cutting.
