Description

A simple and delicious breakfast sandwich that anyone can make.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 egg
  • 1 slice of cheese
  • 2 slices of cooked bacon or sausage
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter for cooking

Instructions

  1. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in the skillet.
  4. Crack the egg into the skillet and cook until the white is set.
  5. Season the egg with salt and pepper.
  6. Add the cheese on top of the egg.
  7. Place the bacon or sausage on top of the cheese.
  8. Top with the second slice of bread, butter side up.
  9. Flip the sandwich carefully and cook until golden brown.
  10. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Use any type of bread you like.
  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or tomatoes.
  • Adjust cooking time for preferred egg doneness.
