A simple fried rice recipe that tastes better than takeout.
Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup mixed vegetables
- 2 eggs
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 1 minute.
- Push garlic and ginger to the side, crack in the eggs and scramble them.
- Add mixed vegetables and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in the cooked rice, mixing everything together.
- Pour soy sauce over the rice, add salt and pepper, and mix well.
- Cook for another 3-5 minutes until heated through. Serve hot.
Notes
- Use day-old rice for better texture.
- Feel free to add cooked chicken, shrimp, or tofu for protein.
- Adjust soy sauce to taste.
