- 4 cups of milk

- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions
- Rinse the rice under cold water.
- In a pot, combine rice, milk, sugar, and salt.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add vanilla, cinnamon, and raisins (if using).
- Cook for another 10 minutes until thickened.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.
