- 500g beef mince
- 250g macaroni
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 400g canned tomatoes
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup cheese, shredded
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cook the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until soft.
- Add the beef mince, cooking until browned.
- Stir in canned tomatoes, beef broth, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Mix the cooked macaroni into the beef mixture.
- Transfer everything to a baking dish and sprinkle cheese on top.
- Bake in the oven for 20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Make sure not to overcook the macaroni.
- You can add vegetables like bell peppers or carrots for more flavor.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to three days.
