- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 egg

- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, chopped onion, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Mix everything together until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix ketchup and Worcestershire sauce.
- Spread the ketchup mixture over the top of the loaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.
- Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve with your favorite sides.
Notes
- Make sure not to overmix the meat.
- You can add your favorite herbs for extra flavor.
- For a moist loaf, do not skip the milk.
- Check for doneness with a meat thermometer; it should read 160°F (71°C).
