Ingredients

  • 1 pound of beef, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups of broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, salt, and pepper for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the marinated beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the pan.
  4. Add another tablespoon of oil, then add garlic and ginger. Stir for 30 seconds.
  5. Add broccoli and a splash of water. Cook for 2-3 minutes until bright green.
  6. Return the beef to the pan and mix everything well. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  7. Serve hot with rice or noodles.

  • Don’t overcook the broccoli; it should be crisp.
