- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the mixture onto the chicken breasts.
- Place the chicken on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side.
- After 10 minutes, brush barbecue sauce on one side of the chicken.
- Flip the chicken and brush sauce on the other side.
- Cook for an additional 5 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Remove from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Check the internal temperature of the chicken to ensure it reaches 165°F.
- Don’t move the chicken too much while it cooks to get nice grill marks.
- Feel free to add more barbecue sauce if you like it saucier.
