Description
A hearty baked ziti with meatballs, made without ricotta cheese.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ziti pasta
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Season with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Mix the cooked ziti with the marinara sauce and half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Add the browned meatballs to the pasta mixture and stir well.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For meatballs, you can use pre-made or make your own.
- Adjust the amount of cheese based on your preference.
- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for extra flavor.
