  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the elbow macaroni according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  4. Add the flour, salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir for about 1 minute.
  5. Gradually add the milk while stirring. Cook until the mixture thickens.
  6. Remove from heat and mix in the cheddar cheese until melted.
  7. Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir to combine.
  8. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  9. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the top is golden brown.
