Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced thinly
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, cornstarch, and black pepper. Add the beef and coat well.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add garlic, onion, and bell pepper. Stir-fry for about 3 minutes.
  5. Add the beef back to the pan along with beef broth and sesame oil. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
