  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix applesauce, sugar, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Line a muffin pan with paper liners or grease it lightly.
  6. Pour the batter into the muffin pan, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let the muffins cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
